Madison Smrtic
Interdisciplinary Artist

Madison Smrtic is an interdisciplinary artist living in upstate New York. She is the co-creator and editor of Full Grain Mag, a community grant funded art magazine which showcases up and coming artists and creatives.
In her current practice, Madison uses the materials available in her small studio, primarily working in fiber arts and digitally. However, she has extensive knowledge of hand papermaking and was trained in etching, woodcut, and monoprints. Madison’s work does not hold to a singular thread, but branches through different interests, topics and obsessions. Though it may not seem interrelated, the themes of feminism, the body, nature, and the notion of craft can be linked throughout her work.
Madison received her master’s degree in Library and Information Science in December of 2025.
